Ice, Ink Jet Print, Plexiglas, BS2 Microcontroller, Speaker.

A Plexiglas container reminiscent of a triumphal arch, has been created to house the project. A temperature sensor is frozen into a ball of ice and suspended in the center of the box. In the upper tray of the box, there is a photographic image of a town shot from an airplane. As the ice melts and drips onto the image, it begins to disintegrate and color the water red. When the temperature is below freezing, a tone sounds every other second. If the temperature sensor reaches a non-freezing degree a continuous tone will sound.
